Growing Up Online

As a student who is growing up during the internet era, I believe that we will soon adapt to depend solely on the internet. We have access to almost anything and any possibility that we can think of we are capable of doing. Technology keeps increasing and we are almost being expected to understand how to operate on the internet. Being a citizen in this culture you must be able to fully comprehend how to use the internet or you will be either an outcast or you will have difficulty understand different information or aspects that people may present to you. Advertising everyday is moving towards the internet. We spend most of our day on the internet, whether it is looking up the news, watching videos, listening to music, shopping, or finding out the scores of your favorite sports team. There are many different types of people's interests, organizations, and companies that run on the internet that advertising is very easy to do online. With social networks like myspace or facebook, there are millions of people who access that site who are capable of viewing different advertisements. The target audience for the advertisement online is so heavy weighted because of the large age span. Almost people of all ages are using the internet, except for people who are elderly because of growing up before the internet era. Eventually we will need to fully understand the internet and it will make things easier for people to have the possibility to find or get almost anything they want, instantly.
